Police tweeted a photograph of a car stopped on the tram line at the junction of Rossall Road and West Drive in Cleveleys over the weekend.
The driver refused a breath test but later blew twice the legal limit at the station. In a separate incident, officers discovered an empty pint beer glass nestling in an over-the-limit BMW driver’s cup holder. A tweet said: “Driver blew 69. Probably explains running out of road.”
